What We Do

At Huntington Learning Center, we work with students from kindergarten through high school on basic skills, high level math and science and prep for standardized tests including the SAT and ACT.

Our Key to Success Is Our Proven Method

At Huntington Learning Center, we understand that one size does not fit all students. Our method is a 4-step approach that works and truly sets our programs apart — and we have decades of experience, and countless success stories to prove it.

1

Conduct AnEvaluation

At our learning center, each student takes a comprehensive academic evaluation that pinpoints strengths and weaknesses.

2

Develop APersonalized Plan

Based on the results of the academic evaluation, our tutors develop a personalized learning plan targeted to meet each student’s needs.

3

CustomizedLearning

Students receive individualized tutoring to help them learn at their pace, on their level, to build skills, confidence, and motivation.

4

CommunicateProgress

We keep parents and teachers (with permission) in the loop with regular conferences to discuss the student’s progress.

Our business model features:

  • Low expenses during startup
  • Minimized fixed and variable ongoing costs
  • Phased-in marketing costs to reduce upfront operating costs
  • Expansive location options, including a lower square-footage requirement and more non-retail location choices
  • Centers Start Part-Time and Expand Hours as Business Grows
    • Tiered center hours in the franchise’s first three years of operation, as franchisees learn and build their businesses
    • Flexible, part-time staffing model
